AMAN operates nationally and locally to uplift Muslim Americans and strengthen American society for all. Specifically, our programs:
AMAN’s National Imams Council connects spiritual leaders and offers services like our American Moonsighting Committee and American Fatwa Council. AMAN also mobilizes volunteers to provide community services to the needy.
AMAN’s flagship mosque, the Madina Masjid in Brooklyn, provides an array of spiritual services and interfaith outreach. The mosque’s pioneering programs are shared across America via our national network of imams.
AMAN is focused on providing a new generation of American Muslims with faith teachings, spiritual sessions, and career building to connect to their heritage and prepare for the future.
AMAN is proud to engage with spiritual and civic leaders from America’s diverse faith and ethnic communities. We role-model how to live peacefully in a multicultural and multi-faith society, and we run sessions on interfaith dialogue, cultural understanding, and collaboration
AMAN is committed to helping those in our communities facing needs, including new immigrants seeking cultural orientation to America and the needy who seek shelter, food assistance, and skills-training.
AMAN recognizes that a woman (Khadijah) was the first Muslim and heeds the message of Surah An-Nisa to uplift women. Our programs seek to elevate women in community leadership and stand against domestic violence.
AMAN runs youth outreach programs to encourage the next generation of young leaders to integrate faith and civic responsibility. This includes Halaqah circles for teens and engaging promising youth in leadership opportunities.
